It's Suicide Prevention Month! Join us on September to bring awareness to Suicide with the 2nd Annual Ladybug Flight. It's Suicide Prevention Month! Join us on Sunday, September 27, 2026 from 3-6pm at Maker's Craft Brewery, 735 E 23rd St, Norfolk to bring awareness to Suicide with the 2nd Annual Ladybug Flight. The Ladybug Flight starts at 3pm. The Norfolk Fire Department will arrive at 4pm so you can "Touch-The-Truck". The drop will happen at 5:15pm.Adopt your own Ladybugs (squishy foam ladybugs) for as little as $10 and watch them "fly" from the top of a Norfolk Fire Department Ladder Truck. The Ladybugs that land closest to the target will win CASH and prizes. Along with the fabulous drinks available for purchase from Maker's Craft Brewery, there will be 2 food trucks on site for you to purchase dinner if you wish.Our Mission: Saving lives by providing depression and suicide prevention awareness programs and resources. Our Vision: a World Without Suicide The Sarah Michelle Peterson Foundation provides educational programs for children, teens and adults at schools, colleges, churches, work places, community centers, gyms, libraries, and other locations.
