The Salon Orchestra of Washington will perform beloved Strauss waltzes, ballroom music from around the world and the famous Radetsky Grand March, led by Carol Traxler. You will also be invited to join us for the Strauss Fledermaus Quadrille #6, which is danced at all the major balls in Vienna. Don't know how to dance? Not a problem, as we will show you how to waltz with Viennese Waltz dance lessons offered on the day prior to the ball. This is also a great opportunity to experience the elegant atmosphere of a European Ball, as well as meet other international professionals and members of the diplomatic community. Attend on your own or with friends You do not need a date to attend. You are welcome to attend without a date, as we expect as many singles as couples. All attendees must be 21 and over. The event will proceed as planned rain, shine, or snow.
