Grammy Award winner and Musical America 2022 Conductor of the Year Teddy Abrams brings together works by Stravinsky, Tchaikovsky, Sarah Kirkland Snider, and Kennedy Center Honoree Michael Tilson Thomas. Called a voice for this historic moment (The Washington Post), bass-baritone Will Liverman joins the orchestra for the world premiere of Sniders Urge, an NSO co-commission setting texts by poet Tracy K. Smith.
