Get Ready, Stay Ready Neighborhood Resilience Fair

Join us for a day of learning ways to keep our neighborhood ready for anything from extreme weather and local disasters to food insecurity. Get Ready Stay Ready Neighborhood Resilience Fair, Saturday November 14th. Deep Space Mind.215, The City's Office of Sustainability, Hinge Collective, and the Cobbs Creek Rec Center want to celebrate with you at the Get Ready Stay Ready Neighborhood Resilience Fair. We will gather to celebrate the ways we care for each other, and the celebrate the unveiling of the city's brand new Climate Resilience Toolkit. This toolkit was built by neighbors throughout Philadelphia as a guide for community members to facilitate gatherings that will support preparing ourselves for disaster, and supporting our strength and resilience regardless of the emergency. We will be joined by the Office of Emergency Management, The Community Grocer, Hinge Collective, and many more organizations dedicated to supporting our neighbors in recovering from emergencies, building skills towards self-sufficiency, food security, and improving health and wellness for neighbors of all ages. Learn about ways you can contribute to your neighborhood's strengths by connecting with community groups and each other. Workshops, performances, activities, and food will be available. Do you represent a community or youth group who would like to sponsor, or participate in program on this day? Reach out to us at rashni at deepspacemind215 dot com. More details to come!
