You are welcome here. We sit not to flee the world, but to return to it softer, sharper, more present—together in the warmth of community. With over twenty-five years of shared practice, Mamalaika Hart and Noelle Warford invite you to gather in stillness at One Art Community Center in West Philly.

Each week, our community sits becomes a gentle return—to posture, to silence, to the rhythm of breath. Together, we practice arriving in our bodies and the present moment, meeting whatever arises with curiosity, compassion, and care. This is an invitation to build sangha—a circle of practice where we show up for ourselves and for one another, week after week. For those seeking a commitment to quiet the mind and sit with all that is present, this is your place. We sit together to sharpen our collective focus—to be fully here, awake and embodied, in a time that asks everything of us. Bring a cushion if you like. No experience or equipment needed. Donations are welcome and help support this community space and the equipment provided.
