come by from 10-4 to buy prints, shirts, zines, art supplies, and more! all sales support our urgent moving fundraiser! Our second fundraiser studio sale is coming up! There will be art, shirts, zines, bookmarks, art supplies, and more, and everything you bring home will help support us in our upcoming move! Registration is optional -- register to get a reminder email! And remember to use the side entrance on Reinhard street! If you’ve been following along, you know we’ve been preparing to move studios all year. Our current studio space at 4700 Kingsessing is being redeveloped and we can’t stay. After many late nights and long weekends looking for a place that would serve the same area while being affordable, we signed a 10-year lease at our soon-to-be-new studio space on Baltimore Ave. Originally hoping to move in the spring, we pushed our move-out date several times, extending the lease at our current space as unexpected construction costs exceeded our budget. We had a make-or-break summer of fundraising. We were either going to raise enough to complete construction and open the new space or close permanently. No pressure, right? Well, thanks to the incredible support of our community, we were able to successfully raise the funds to get construction started in our Baltimore Ave space. But we’re still urgently fundraising to complete construction, and our upcoming studio sale is an amazing way to support. Our talented artist members are donating work, which you can buy on a sliding scale, all of which will go towards our fundraiser and help us open our doors as soon as possible!
