Muscle Energy Techniques with MoveWell Seminars x Back to You

This 1-day seminar will introduce the concepts and basic applications of muscle energy techniques (MET). Join Sherry McLaughlin, MSPT, CSCS, of Michigan Institute for Human Performance, for an interactive, 1-day seminar designed to introduce the concepts and applications of muscle energy techniques, an osteopathic manual treatment. Participants will be able to: • Understand real world applications and rationale for MET • Evaluate and treat iliosacral and sacroiliac dysfunction • Evaluate and treat lumbar and thoracic somatic dysfunction • Evaluate and treat limited UE and LE joint hypomobility • Prescribe exercises to enhance and maintain corrections This seminar will include hands-on demonstrations and opportunities to delve into Q and A specific to participants' interests and clinical needs. Seminar handouts and materials will be provided to participants electronically. CEU certificates will be printed and provided to participants. Open to PTs, PTAs, OTs, OTAs.
