Join Laura as she delves into the journey of war widow Clementina, from 1920s Abruzzo, Italy to South Australia’s Henley Beach. Hoping to fulfill her mother’s dying wish by tracking down her missing brother, Francesco, last heard from in Adelaide ten years ago, Clementina is relying on her expert embroidery skills to create a meaningful new life for herself and earn enough to make a difference for her remaining family in Italy. Thursday 5 November, 6:30 - 7.30pm Unley Town Hall, 181 Unley Road, Unley Cost $5 to be paid on booking, bookings essential. Book online via Eventbrite or phone 8372 5100.
