Dementia Action Week Conversation and Morning Tea

Join us for an informative and friendly morning exploring dementia, brain health and the latest research. Learn more about what dementia is, how it differs from normal ageing, and some of the early signs to look out for. We’ll watch a short video to help explain what happens in the brain and hear about exciting developments in early identification, diagnosis and treatment. We’ll also explore practical things we can do to support brain health and potentially reduce our risk of dementia. There will be plenty of opportunity to discuss and share experiences about dementia, and learn from one another in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Most importantly, come along to enjoy the company of others, have a chat and share a morning tea. Everyone is welcome – whether you’re interested in learning more about dementia, supporting a family member or friend, or simply want to better understand healthy ageing and brain health.
