Accompanying our practice is the Guzheng 古筝, a traditional Chinese string instrument with a history spanning over 2,000 years. Its flowing, resonant tones reflect the rhythms of nature, creating a calming soundscape that gently supports mindfulness, movement and inner balance. Inspired by the energy of spring, this session invites participants to embrace a season of renewal, growth, awakening and fresh beginnings. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, spring is associated with the rising energy of nature and the transition from the inward, restorative quality of winter towards greater movement and activity. It is an opportunity to awaken the body, refresh the mind, release stagnation and reconnect with a sense of vitality. Participants will be guided through gentle Qi Gong practices designed to encourage the smooth flow of energy, awaken the body, release physical tension and support flexibility, vitality and overall wellbeing.
