Housing Symposium: Climate Convergence

Don Dunstan Foundation Housing Symposium 2026 Lessons from the Dunstan Decade and Climate Convergence The two great policy challenges of our time are closely linked - housing and climate change. Please join us for the Don Dunstan Foundation’s 2026 housing symposium, which will focus on the convergence of these two crises and how policy-makers, industry and researchers are grappling with the challenge. The symposium will also feature a look back on Dunstan housing policy and its influence on national policy, as part of the Foundation’s celebrations of the centenary of the former Premier’s birth in Suva, Fiji, in 1926. This session is in partnership with AHURI and will celebrate social housing innovation as a lens to look forward at today’s challenges. We’ll be examining these issues with panels of experts from the housing and community sector, researchers, industry experts, people with lived experience and decision-makers. We’ll be asking how the nation can housing supply and affordability, while ensuring our housing stock is suitable for a warming planet. The event will include a light lunch and networking drinks at the end of the day Date: 5 November, 2026 Time: 10am to 4pm Place: Flinders city campus, Festival Tower, Station Rd, Adelaide
