Roots & Rituals: Pagan Roots of Christmas & Christmas Party!

Roots and Rituals: Pagan Roots of Christmas & Christmas Party! 🎄✨ Gather around for a festive evening of folklore, seasonal magick and shared food as we explore the stories behind familiar Christmas traditions, and celebrate together! From evergreen decorations and Yule logs to feasting and gift-giving, we’ll explore the pagan, folk and seasonal influences that have helped shape Christmas celebrations over time. Together, we’ll discover connections with winter solstice traditions and reflect on how these customs have evolved across cultures and generations. We’ll also explore ways to bring personal meaning and an earth-honouring approach to the festive season, including how we might adapt winter-inspired traditions to our own Southern Hemisphere summer. Then, we’ll make space for celebration! Share a plate, enjoy good company and reflect on the creativity, connections and discoveries of the year. Whether you’re a Roots and Rituals regular or joining us for the first time, you’re warmly welcome. Bring your festive spirit, your curiosity and something delicious to share. 📅 Wednesday 16 December 🕡 6:30 pm start 📍 Grounded — 29 Regent Street N, Adelaide CBD 🎟️ Cost: $35 Bring: A plate of food to share and your grimoire. ✨ Spaces are limited, and bookings are essential.
