FREE education session for families and friends, delivering information to those supporting someone using alcohol and drugs. Is someone in your family or a friend using drugs and/or alcohol? Are you looking for practical, down-to-earth information and support? This workshop will cover: Effective Communication • Essentials of communication • What works and what doesn't • Practical strategies that can make a difference • Language and unhelpful concepts Presented by Family Drug Support - a national, non-religious not-for-profit charity. Each Stepping Forward session is designed so that you will have something of value to take away to help you on your journey. Everyone is welcome to attend one or more sessions.
