Singing Under the Stars: Parkside Carols & Markets

A free family Christmas celebration in Parkside with carols, local markets, food, snow play, face painting, Santa and more. Celebrate Christmas under the stars at Singing Under the Stars: Parkside Carols & Markets a free, family-friendly evening of music, festive fun and community spirit. Bring a picnic blanket and join us on the lawns of St Raphael’s School for joyful live performances, Christmas sing-alongs and a sparkling program featuring songs from HI-5, The Wiggles and Wham!, alongside much-loved carols and festive classics. Returning host Libby Trainor will keep the fun flowing between performances, while children can enjoy a dedicated soft play area, face painting, and special magical snow-play fun. Browse the twinkle-lit Christmas Markets, featuring a curated selection of local craftspeople, handmade gifts, festive treats, jewellery, homewares and unique Christmas finds. Food trucks and an onsite bar will also be available throughout the evening. At the heart of the event is our Giving and Wishing Tree. Bring a wrapped Christmas gift to place beneath the tree for families who may need extra support this Christmas, and add your own Christmas wish to the branches. Want your wish to be part of the night? Share it on Instagram using #StRaphsChristmasWish before or during the event. Libby may even read selected wishes aloud during the celebrations. Santa and his elves will also make a magical visit, bringing extra Christmas cheer for children and families. Proudly supported by a City of Unley grant, this is a welcoming community celebration for all ages.
