Full description from organizerShow less
Join Laban Practitioner Natalie Diggins for two workshops that will dive into the beauty of moving with intention, and attention. The Kinesphere - The possibilities of your movement are endless; your options are like a sky full of stars. In this workshop we will be exploring the concept of the kinesphere and how having an awareness of it can open up new movement opportunities, ideas, and actions. The kinesphere becomes both a mirror and a laboratory - a site for discovery, transformation and embodied understanding. Please bring; Comfortable clothing that allows for a range of movement, a pen, note pad, and water. No hip scarves please. Attention to the Heart - with live music - Join Laban Practitioner Natalie Diggins and musician Tony Hole for Attention to the Heart - a nourishing and immersive embodied experience exploring the heart as a living centre of rhythm, connection, and vitality. Through breath, sensory awareness and experiential movement we invite you to slow down and tune in to your inner compass and most trusted friend. Reconnect with the body’s natural rhythms and awaken a deeper sense of presence, ease, balance, and joy. With Tony’s live music creating a rich and responsive landscape for embodied listening, we follow the pulse; turning inward and expanding outward, following the heart’s own rhythm and allowing sound, breath, movement, and sensation to guide us. This is your invitation to soften, move, expand, and reconnect with the innate intelligence and vitality of your heart. Both workshops run for 2 hours each and are suitable for beginners to advanced dancers.
