Get the skills to support friends, family & clients at risk with this nationally accredited online Mental Health First Aid course. Mental Health First Aid Training (2-Day In-person) The Standard Mental Health First aid course teaches participants how to provide intial support to another adult who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis, until professional help is received or the crisis resolves Parcticipants learn about the signs and symptoms of common mental health problems in both adults and young people, how to recognise, respond and refer someone with an emerging or worsening mental health problem. This course runs from 9am-4pm across 2-days at the Salisbury Construction Training Centre. Upon completion course participants can opt to become and Accredited Mental Health First Aider (MHFAider) valid for 3 years
