Prime Minister Mark Carney's historic visit to Australia earlier this year signalled a renewed commitment to strengthening economic ties, unlocking institutional capital and advancing cooperation across critical minerals, energy, infrastructure, defence and emerging technologies. The opportunity is significant. With more than A$250 billion in two-way investment and A$13 billion in annual bilateral trade, Australia and Canada are not simply longstanding allies, they are increasingly important economic and strategic partners. As the Canadian Australian Chamber of Commerce (CACC) celebrates its 20th anniversary, we invite senior leaders from business, government and the investment community to join us in Sydney for an evening of connection, celebration and forward-looking conversation.
