Cashless & Care-Free

What does it take to care? We all depend on care, yet so much of it goes unseen. From the tenderness of holding someone close to the physical and emotional labour of holding everything together, care is an everyday act of strength, endurance, love and resilience. Vulcana Circus brings the weight, repetition, balancing acts, exhaustion, humour and beauty of care to the circus stage. Working with a community circus ensemble, Older women's dance troupe WAW, Youth synchronised swimmers from Aqualina, and live music and poetry this immersive promenade circus show asks us to look differently at something we all rely on, but too rarely value. Come along and help us put care where it belongs: centre stage. Note: This is a promenade style show, meaning the audience moves through various locations. If you need assistance moving between places - or have any other access requirements - choose the Access support ticket along with your show ticket, and we will get in touch to discuss how to ensure a smooth night for you.
