Rosie Tatts & Million Johnnys - Live from the Kennel

Description Million Johnny’s and Rosie Tatts makes their Brisbane debut at Brown Dogs’ intimate “The Kennel” - a midnight treehouse for the curious, where audience and band feel impossibly close. Think Narnia‑meets‑backporch: twig‑roofed magic, warm lamplight, and the giddy danger of a band playing just below your feet. MILLION JOHNNYS Bringing their signature blend of folk-blues grit, bar-room swagger, and coastal blues energy, Million Johnnys have built a reputation as one of the hardest-working and most entertaining live acts around. Expect big grooves, great songs, and plenty of chaos in all the right ways. Then to finish the night off folks we have the unleashed energy…. ROSIE TATTS Born of Irish‑convict roots and fuelled by grass-roots grit, Rosie Tattoo is no ordinary tribute. Angret (Cara Robinson) leads an acoustic apocalypse with Hat Fitz (banjo, BVs), the Curran brothers Micro (mandolin and BV’s), El Bee (dobro) and Hooksy (double bass). They strip Rock ’n’ Roll down to raw, ripped, and disturbingly blissful. Foot‑stomping, spine‑twisting rhythms braided with close harmonies and weathered storytelling. Expect sweat, laughter, late‑night singalongs and songs reshaped into Appalachian‑tinged fire. First time seeing them up close? This is the one - intimate, relentless, and unforgettable.
