CPD12 Buddhist Psychology for Contemplative Clinical Practice

Mindfulness is only the beginning. Buddhist psychology offers a complete map of the mind, of suffering and of how we heal. This 3-day CPD intensive brings together contemplative science, biopsychosocial understanding and lived experience to help practitioners build a compassionate, restorative approach that supports both client and practitioner wellbeing. What you'll explore: • The Four Noble Truths and the nature of suffering and liberation • Ungrasping: noticing and releasing habitual patterns • Compassion, empathy and forgiveness practices • Trauma-informed mindfulness for safely guiding clients • Somatic embodiment, breath and nervous system regulation • The neuroscience of compassion and unconditional love For psychologists, psychiatrists, counsellors, psychotherapists, yoga and meditation teachers and allied health professionals.
