Duration 3h Get started knitting the delightfully cabled and completely reversible Piccino Shawl, designed by Vera Marcu. Discover how easy it is to create beautiful reversible cables that look stunning on both sides of your scarf. You’ll learn how to read a knitting chart, understand the symbols, and practise working cables with - or even without - a cable needle. This session is perfect for knitters ready to expand their skills and explore textured, elegant techniques. Cost $65 includes tuition and the Piccino Shawl pattern from Vera Loves Knitting This could be your chance to use that special skein from the recent yarn festival, or you can choose to buy yarn and needles in-store. BYO 100g 4ply yarn, preferably in a solid or semi-solid colour. A slow-changing colour gradient is also suitable 3.25mm knitting needles, circular or long straight needles Cable needle no thicker than your knitting needles Your Tutor: With almost 60 years of experience, Josephine has extensive knowledge of knitting. She teaches knitting to others and regularly adds new techniques, patterns, and methods to her skill set.
