Full description from organizer

Digital health has moved well past the pilot stage. Telehealth, apps, remote monitoring and AI-supported tools are now part of how Australians manage their health, and patients increasingly arrive at appointments having already used them. This interactive workshop, presented by Dr Jaimon Kelly (UQ Centre for Online Health), Jamieson Baker (Tropic Tech & Innovation Network) and Tara Diversi (Sophus Nutrition; Digital Health Adviser, Australian Digital Health Agency), gives clinicians a practical grounding in the current digital health landscape in Australia. You'll learn how to assess whether a digital tool is credible, safe and evidence-based, how to integrate digital supports into care without adding to your workload, and where the national digital health agenda is heading. We will workshop the benefit and risks of incorporating digital health and AI in your practice and give you a checklist to make sure you are meeting your requirements and client expectations. We'll work through real examples, including how a nutrition and behaviour-change app was co-designed to meet needs of Far North Queenslanders.
