Living well with chronic illnesses including arthritis, fibromyalgia, and chronic pain, and Arthritis ACT individual and group services. Join us for a session with Arthritis ACT. This session will include; • Information on Arthritis ACT services including individual and group supports, exercise, and allied health. • These services are designed for people with arthritis, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, and chronic pain. • Exercise options include tai chi, yoga, hydrotherapy, Pilates, and All in! LGBTIQA+ exercise classes. Arthritis ACT Exercise Physiologist (EP) Holly Hazelwood will join us to talk about the role of an EP in managing pain and fatigue. An Easy English copy of ‘About having pain and being tired all the time’ will be available ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION The Arthritis ACT building is ground floor and wheelchair accessible. Directions: Get in Touch - Arthritis, Pain Support & Emerge ACT Parking: There are disabled parking spots out the front of Building 18. You may park in any of the 'tenant parking' spaces around the building. Public Transport Stops: Buses 23, 30 and 901 stop on Haydon Drive near the venue. The rapid routes R2, R3, R4 and R9 stop on College Street a 1km/15minute walk away. Toilets: disabled toilets are located inside Service and Assistance Animals: Service and assistance animals are allowed in all public places. You do not need to carry and ID or registration and special garments or harnesses are optional. A quiet space will be available. COVID SAFETY • If you have any cold or flu symptoms do not attend the event, this is not only for covid safety but also general disability safety. • We encourage masking at our events, N95 masks and hand sanitiser will be available at events. • If you test positive with covid up to 10 days after the event, please email WWDACT so we can notify the other attendees ([email protected]).
