The Christmas Gift Lab - Where Science Meets Art

Get creative this Christmas at The Gift Lab, where science, art and imagination come together to make unique, handmade gifts! Hosted by two spirited Glasgow women who believe science is even better when served with a healthy dose of humour, this hands-on workshop is all about curiosity, experimentation and creative discovery. Get stuck into a range of festive projects, including: • Christmas bath bombs – Create your own fragrant, fizzy gifts. • Reed diffuser kits – Learn how to make your own infused oils and beautiful home fragrances. • Christmas decorations and cards – Make something personal and festive. • Sharpie tie-dye – Discover a colourful technique to transform fabric into wearable art. Just bring your own white T-shirt or fabric if you'd like to give this a go! We'll also share clever ideas for school holiday STEM activities and show you how to put together a fun, screen-free activity kit for curious kids. It's a brilliant gift idea for busy parents looking to keep little minds and hands occupied over the holidays. Whether you're making gifts for loved ones or simply fancy an afternoon of creative experimentation, come along, have a laugh and discover what happens when science meets art! All workshop materials are included, except white T-shirts or fabric for the tie-dye activity. Suitable for 16+, under 18years must have a paying adult with them. Min numbers required for this to go ahead.
