Conscious and Ecstatic Dance

Let your hair down and take off your shoes, explore the freedom of your body with movement. Conscious & Ecstatic dance is freestyle movement with emphasis on mindful awareness and non-judgement. Honouring the body, emotions, energy and spirit. Dance is a platform for meditation where we may explore our experience with loving kindness, curiosity and acceptance of ourselves and others. We start with a gentle breathing practice then move into 45 minutes of rhythmic music. The sessions are curated with different themes relating to wellness. This is a mostly introspective process, however we are dancing in a communal space and there is an invitation to communicate with others through movement. The session concludes with a crystal sound bath meditation, for integration and relaxation. Afterwards enjoy nourishing refreshments in community. Leave grounded and connected, ready for the weekend. This is an alcohol and substance free event. No dance experience required. Not suitable for children.
