Learn to Sew at Jika Oct-Dec

Learn how to sew with Helen Huitema at Jika Jika Community Centre. Hi folks. I am from Aoteoroa/New Zealand and am an experienced Textiles teacher currently working part-time in Camberwell. I would love to meet you, show you how to use a sewing machine, the basics of Textile construction, and maybe work with you on some projects! I have over fifteen years experience in teaching people to sew and constructing garments from patterns. Please join me for a beginners Learn to Sew workshop! You can book one session. The first two hours of the four hour session will be learning to sew. The second two hours, you can work on a project of your own. $10 suggested donation covers the costs of materials and hall hire. Class is limited to six people.
