Moving onto the road with your bike! Women & gender diverse only

Move into the New year and onto the road with confidence! Take you rides from the bike path to the road with this sociable and friendly workshop for women and gender diverse participants only. We'll be practising the skills to keep you safe on the road and then put them into practice with a group ride. This course is for any adult women and gender diverse participants who already ride but would like to improve their skills and strategies for scenarios found when riding on roads. Our team of female instructors will take you through what you need to know and practice to confidently head out on your bike and find comfortable routs to take. This course is commissioned by the City of Glen Eira and delivered by the professionals from Bike it Better. Fee: General tickets are $20. Concession tickets are $10. Who is this session suitable for? • Womena dn gender diverse adults who can balance and pedal. You need to be safely able to brake and steer in order to book for the on-road component. • Suitable for all types of human-powered bicycles, including folding bikes and electric bikes that are legal to use in Victoria.
