Girls Come and Try and Shoot Day Join us for an exciting day of shooting at the Oakleigh Pistol Club. This event is exclusively for ladies and girls 12+ who want to experience the thrill of handling a gun in a safe and supportive environment. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some shooting experience, this event is perfect for you. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the basics of gun handling and safety, ensuring that you feel confident and comfortable throughout the day. Don't miss this chance to step out of your comfort zone and try something new! Grab your friends and join us in Oakleigh for an unforgettable day of shooting. Spaces are limited, so make sure to secure your spot now! You will also be required to sign a Non‑Prohibited Person Declaration before you are permitted to shoot. This declaration confirms that you are not subject to any current restraining orders, do not have past criminal charges that would prohibit firearm use, and are not currently receiving professional mental‑health support that would legally prevent you from shooting. If you have a criminal record, past charges, or are currently seeing a psychologist for mental‑health reasons, you may not be legally allowed to shoot. However, if you are under the care of a psychologist, you may provide a referral letter from them. This letter must clearly state that, in their professional opinion, you do not have any issues that would prevent you from safely participating in shooting activities.
