Public and Proud Launch

Join us for the launch of the Public and Proud booklet - combatting the stigma of public housing one exceptional story at a time. Public housing can be the opportunity of a lifetime for those fortunate to access it - a safe start or a rare second chance. Instead of celebrating the strengths of public housing renters, the community too often assumes the worst of the people who live there. We know the truth, and this book of profiles proves it. Spend an unabashedly positive afternoon with us on the rooftop of the Queen Victoria Women's Centre. Start your weekend the right way with light refreshments, a view, and speakers to be announced. RSVP quickly, as spaces are limited. About the VPTA The VPTA is the voice of public housing in Victoria. We are the peak body for people who live in public housing, and people who want to live in public or community housing. Without their generous support the Public and Proud booklet could not have been produced.
