Resonance: The Embodied Voice Workshop Series

Come home to your voice. Explore how breath, movement and the nervous system shape your voice—and open the way to freer, more authentic expression. What if your voice could tell you more about yourself than your words ever could? Resonance – The Embodied Voice is a welcoming, immersive one-day workshop exploring the connection between your voice, body, breath, emotions and nervous system. Your voice is more than sound. It can reflect how you breathe, how you hold yourself, how safe you feel being heard—and the beliefs and experiences that may have shaped the way you express yourself. Through gentle movement, breathwork, meditation, sound, guided vocal work, somatic exploration and reflective journaling, you’ll be invited to listen to your voice in a completely different way. This isn’t about learning to sing, performing in front of others or trying to create a “beautiful” speaking voice. It’s about becoming more aware of what supports—or gets in the way of—your natural expression. During the day, you’ll have the opportunity to: • Understand how your breath, body and nervous system influence your voice • Explore humming, vibration and sound as tools for grounding and connection • Notice physical tension and patterns that may cause you to hold back • Experience what it feels like to take up space and be heard • Develop greater ease, presence and confidence in expressing yourself • Leave with simple practices you can use in everyday life Previous participants have described the workshop as calming, nurturing, empowering, informative and fun. Many left feeling more connected to themselves, with a deeper awareness of their breath, energy and voice. No singing or vocal experience is needed.
