Drawing, Drinks & A Slower Kind of Evening This month, Sketch & Sip is heading outdoors. Take your sketchbook outside and spend the evening drawing from the world around you — from the buildings and trees around us to little details you might usually walk straight past. Without the usual four walls around us, we’ll slow things down, look a little closer, and spend the evening sketching, chatting and enjoying a drink outdoors at Sabi Sounds. Whether you're an experienced illustrator or simply looking to try something new, Sketch & Sip is about making space to create, connect, and enjoy the process — one sketch at a time. Come solo or bring a friend. No pressure, no experience needed. About the Host Hiya! My name is Paris, and I'm a lecturer in inclusive design/researcher and designer in inclusive design at Swinburne University! I am also an artist, dabbling in all sorts of mediums like oil paints, acrylic paints and pencil sketching. I love producing abstract art, figurative art, still-life art and en plein air art! Honestly, all the art things bring lots of joy. I'm SO excited for you to join this Sabi Sketching Session, a beginner-expert friendly sketching environment where we will be surrounded by the good vibes of Sabi Sounds, be in a safe space to explore our creativity, listening to groovy disco era beats and enjoying a classic Sabi Sounds beverage in the beautiful sun room space.
