Tramboat Ride Maribyrnong Flotilla

Join us on the Tramboat for our Maribyrnong Flotilla Event. Places limited so register here to secure your spot on the boat. Get behind the our campaign for more water in the creeks that keep the Maribyrnong alive. Despite two decades of promises to return water, the Maribyrnong remains one of Victoria's most flow-stressed rivers - squeezed by climate change, over-allocation, and rising demand, including from hyper-scale data centres. The reforms are on paper, not in the water. We want to change that! So, come dressed in your finest with flag or banner in hand decorated with fish, frogs, birds, seals, dolphins, whatever you love about this special place. Send a message to our politicians about how much we want the Maribyrnong to be known, loved and protected. Date: 25th October 2026 Time: 10am - 12pm Meet: Footscray Boat Club join the start of the parade - we'll brief you on how the event will work and make sure you have all the information you need to safely participate. Then board the Tramboat at the Flemington Race Course Wharf. Rotary BBQ: 12pm - 1pm
