Explore the MAC yapang gallery and enjoy hands-on art-making with guidance from a friendly educator! Artspace at MAC yapang is a free creative program that encourages families to enjoy art together while fostering creativity, self-expression, and connection in a welcoming environment for people of all ages and abilities. Each session begins with an exploration of the exhibitions on display, followed by a guided art activity inspired by the ideas and materials participants have encountered. ARTSPACE does not run during the school holidays • All materials provided • Bookings essential • Please be mindful to cancel your tickets if you are unable to attend, as we often have a waitlist for each session. About the venue MAC yapang (Museum of Art and Culture, yapang) is located in Booragul on the shores of Lake Macquarie. The venue offers step-free access, accessible amenities, accessible parking and public spaces designed for ease of movement. Parking is available for cars and buses, and MAC yapang can be easily reached by car, public transport, bicycle or water. A wheelchair and quiet seating within the exhibition spaces are available on request.
