Join us at Maitland City Council's Youth Engagement Forum this September. What does the future of Maitland look like for young people? This September, Maitland City Council invites young people (aged 12 to 24) to share their ideas, experiences and perspectives at its inaugural Youth Engagement Forum at Maitland Town Hall. Keynote speaker Luke Kennedy – one of Australia’s most in-demand motivational speakers – will lead a packed program of interactive activities and panel discussions that is designed to give the young people of Maitland an unmissable opportunity to connect and add their voice on an ongoing conversation about our city’s future. More than just a chance to connect with their peers, the forum gives young people the opportunity to have a genuine say in shaping Maitland's future. Participants' ideas will help inform Council's Youth Supporting Plan and influence future programs, services and spaces for young people. From creating change to simply sharing their perspective, this all-day event is a fantastic opportunity for young people to play a role in fashioning a safer, more supportive and inclusive future for Maitland.
