Sunday Sessions: Abstract landscape painting

Join us for a relaxing afternoon of abstract landscape painting, inspired by our current exhibition, Current Connections. Explore Current Connections, where five artists respond to the landscape through abstract painting. Taking inspiration from their diverse artistic practices, you'll be guided through the creation of your own small-scale abstract landscape paintings using acrylic paints. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist looking to experiment, this workshop offers a welcoming and creative environment for all skill levels. About the venue MAC yapang (Museum of Art and Culture, yapang) is located in Booragul on the shores of Lake Macquarie. The venue offers step-free access, accessible amenities, accessible parking and public spaces designed for ease of movement. Parking is available for cars and buses, and MAC yapang can be easily reached by car, public transport, bicycle or water. A wheelchair and quiet seating within the exhibition spaces are available on request.
