TechCreate Girls Celebration

Join us at the Multi-Arts Pavilion, mima, for a special celebration of the TechCreate Girls program. This event will recognise the achievements of TechCreate Girls Program participants and celebrate the conclusion of the program’s initial grant funded delivery, supported through the Australian Government's Maker Projects Community STEM Engagement Grants. Bringing together participants from across the program, their families and friends, supporters and the wider community, the event is an opportunity to celebrate the creativity, skills, confidence and ideas developed through TechCreate Girls, and to reflect on the impact of the program to date. A highlight of the event will be the presentation of an interactive digital artwork created by our latest TechCreate Girls cohort. Designed specifically for the immersive environment of MAP mima, the work combines 360 degree digital projection, 3D printed objects and interactive technology. Booking essential. All are welcome. Afternoon tea will be provided.
