Threads of Connection Information Session

An information session about next year's collaborative textile project with Louisa Magrics Interested in joining a unique community art project in 2027? Come along to this information afternoon to learn more about Threads of Connection, a collaborative textile arts project led by acclaimed textile artist Louisa Magrics. From February 2027, for 8 weeks, participants will take part in weekly workshops exploring textiles, storytelling and creative connection, working together to create a collaborative artwork that will be exhibited at MAC yapang Museum of Art and Culture Lake Macquarie. No previous experience is necessary. This project is a wonderful opportunity to connect with others, learn contemporary textile techniques, share stories and contribute to a public exhibition.
