Connector’s Hub - Jam, Scones and a Community Jam 🍓

A cozy gathering for Befriend Hosts, community contributors and anyone curious about bringing community to life. We’re getting some familiar faces back around the table, making room for some new ones, and sharing the stories behind how we’ve each found our own ways to contribute. Everyone around this table has a story to tell, so we’ll be spilling the tea on our journeys of community connection and contribution. The good bits, the wobbly bits, what we’ve learnt, and what keeps us coming back. What we’ll get up to 🌻 🃏 Start with a little connection game and get to know each other and reconnect 🫖 Spill the tea on our journeys of community connection and contribution 👋 Hear from Kirby & Hirukshi about the little things that can make a warm welcome as our young community connectors 🍓 Grab a community scenario and jam on it together, sharing experiences, ideas and different ways forward And, of course, there’ll be actual jam, scones and plenty of tea along the way. Whether you’ve been part of Befriend for years, have found your own little way to contribute in community, are bringing people together somewhere else in the community, or are only just starting to wonder what contribution might look like for you; everyone is welcome around the table. Come reconnect with some familiar faces, meet a few new ones, bring what you’ve learnt and borrow a little wisdom from everyone else. You don’t need to have it all figured out or be hosting something already. Just bring yourself, your stories, your questions and whatever you’ve learnt along the way. There’s always room for another chair at the table (and another scone). 🌻
