Join art therapist Monique Tilt (Certified Creative Arts Therapist) in this hands on creative workshop to create your one-of-a-kind talisman or charm! About the practice of making lucky talismans A lucky charm, often referred to as a talisman or amulet, holds profound symbolism across various cultures and belief systems. Many people associate talismans with hope, protection, and positive energy. The impact of having a talisman can be profound - often transcending spiritual, cultural and psychological traditions. A talisman at its core is a symbol of optimism and human desire of good fortune as well as protection against harm and warding off evil forces. During the workshop In this hands-on workshop, certified Creative Arts Therapist Monique Tilt, will guide you in the making of your own lucky talisman. Using art supplies and natural materials (which will be provided), you will craft a talisman that is unique to you. We will then gather together and discuss what our talismans represents. There is no right or wrong way to create your own talisman! This workshop allows you a space to play and explore different materials in art. You will not only walk away from this workshop with your own lucky charm but connections within the community as welll. Materials and refreshments provided.
