Sanctuary- Communal Listening and Playing

Description: Come into the garden as the sun sets. Slow down. Listen. Create Follow a gentle path through the Art House Garden, listening for the quiet life around you — the rustle of leaves, the movement of air, distant sounds and the gentle pulse of the garden. Together, we will create and share sound using xylophones, metallophones and handheld percussion. Simple patterns invite us to play, move, listen and respond to one another. At different points along the way, there will be spaces to pause, reflect and respond through sound, mark-making and written words. A shared journey of listening and making. We will come together at the end to share, reflect and connect over light refreshments.
