Creative rest is a type of rest that focuses on engaging with activities that spark inspiration, imagination, and creativity. Give it a try! Take some time out for yourself this weekend to rest and rejuvenate using your creative side! Connect with others, set and share your intentions for the new week or reflect on the week past. Cosy up with us this winter at The Social Hermit and explore a variety of art and craft materials including (but not limited to!): • Textiles • Collage • Paint with acrylics or watercolours • Drawing • Printmaking and block printing • Paper Crafts • Handbuilding with clay • Junk Journalling • Sewing and upcycling • Needle felting And so much more! Guided by a qualified and experienced art therapist, Cheryl will guide you to create something meaningful with intention, imbued with self-care and love. If you have something specific you wish to explore please email us in advance to check we have the correct materials. We welcome neurodivergent folks, people with psycho-social disabilities, first-nations, BIPOC and gender queer folx, we have a diverse community so we ask that you leave judgement at the door and enter with an open mind. We run these workshops on Wadjuk Boorloo Ngoongar Boodjar and acknowledge the traditional custions of the land, past present and emerging and pay our respects always.
