Although partnering with patients through a shared decision-making approach is key to delivering clinically appropriate care (ref: NSQHS Standards) we know that at the “coal face”, the practical (communication) skills required were not taught to us in medical school. Building on EMHS experience - 5 years of teaching over 600 clinicians to communicate Goals of Patient Care - we invite you to participate in a simulation workshop in shared decision-making conversations at SJOG Midland.
