Blues Routine with Jodi - Caloundra

Swing Patrol is excited to have special guest instructor Jodi for this workshop in Caloundra - where Jodi is from! Jodi will be teaching "Hound Dog" - a smooth, sultry solo blues routine choreographed by Dexter Santos, danced to the smoking hot tune by Big Mama Thornton. No experience required - open to all! Working on solo dance (jazz or blues) is a wonderful way to explore the connection between the music and the steps, to develop your quality of movement, expand your dance vocabulary and add variety of expression to your partner dancing. Absolutely optional, but Jodi will talk to you about performing this routine together as the Hound Dog crew. Book ahead and save! The price increases for tickets purchased on the day of the workshop. Please arrive a few minutes before the advertised start time, to check in and be ready to dance at the start of the session. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY: If you need to cancel due to illness/Public Health & Safety, a refund will be available as long as you advise Swing Patrol via text to 0412 309 311 before 9am on the day of the event. Cancellations for reasons other than Public Health & Safety: As the venue has a fixed capacity, refunds are not possible without 48 hours notice, as we may have turned away other dancers and need time to give others the opportunity to snap up your spot.
