What We’ll Learn • Breaking down subjects into simple forms — learn how to identify basic shapes and forms within an object. • Understanding shading — explore how light and shadow help create the appearance of depth and three-dimensionality. • Digital painting techniques — learn how to apply these ideas using digital painting tools. • Final painting — put everything together by painting a chosen object from start to finish. What You’ll Need Students will need to bring: • An iPad with a working digital art application such as Procreate, Sketchbook or Photoshop. • A working stylus or Apple Pencil suitable for their device. • A charger for their device. Computers are also welcome. Students may use a computer with Photoshop, Sketchbook or Krita installed. Procreate is only available on iPad. Please ensure your chosen app is installed and working before the course.
