Get creative with peacock painting and cupcake pottery – a fun holiday art mashup you don’t want to miss! Get Creative at Our HOLIDAY ART CLASS! Join us in person for a fun-filled session of Peacock Painting and Cupcake Pottery. This class is perfect to get those creative vibes flowing and enjoy the holiday spirit. Relax, paint a colorful peacock, learning colour mixing and paintbrush techniques; then design your own adorable cupcake pottery piece, which can be painted at home. Bring your friends, make new ones, and make some awesome art! Time: 10am - 1pm (3 hours) Request: please text Cheryl 0409 110023 • your child's first name/age, AND/OR any special or NDIS needs Date: Thurs 24 Sep Ages: from 6+ to 14 years Activities: Peacock Painting + Cupcake Pottery The class has 2 parts - painting then pottery. Learn the shapes needed to design this gorgeous peacock. Colour theory and paintbrush techniques are experimented first, then to finish their art masterpiece. In the second activity, we again explore the basic shapes that make up the cupcake, using pinch pot technique, tesxtures and details. Correct joining techniques will be used for the joining. I spent my younger years living here and attending local schools. This a beautiful part of the world with a creative and supportive community. I love it! My favourite art is painting large scale canvases. I have a teaching degree, QCT and Blue Card current registrations. My experiences range from teaching visual arts at Immanuel Primary School, Matthew Flinders Anglican College, and overseas schools. At the Paintbox studio, I bring a nurturing style, encouraging each individual to be creative, use their skills and self expression.
