Introduction to Eight Beat Lindy Hop - Caloundra

Throughout the session you will be exposed to one of the fundamental rhythms of swing dancing – eight count Lindy Hop. Meet the superstar move of Lindy Hop, the Swingout! You may even get some history nuggets along the way. In this workshop we'll teach you some introductory moves and technique that will allow you to build your confidence and take your dancing to the social floor. Absolutely no previous experience required. Also great for dusting off the rust after a break, or for experienced swing dancers exploring their non-dominant dance role. Book ahead and save! The price increases for tickets purchased on the day of the workshop. Please arrive a few minutes before the advertised start time, to check in and be ready to dance at the start of the session. Cancellations for reasons other than Public Health & Safety: As the venue has a fixed capacity, refunds are not possible without 48 hours notice, as we may have turned away other dancers and need time to give others the opportunity to snap up your spot.
