What happens when we give ourselves permission to create ~ without expectation, perfection or purpose? Join us for our next Soulful Long Lunch, “Creative Connection”, an uplifting day exploring the many ways creativity can bring more joy, playfulness, expression and connection into our lives. Creativity isn't reserved for artists. It can be found in the way we move, make, cook, write, sing, solve problems and see the world around us. This lunch is an invitation to reconnect with your innate creativity, to become curious, embrace play and discover how creative expression can support our wellbeing, help us process emotion and reconnect us with ourselves and others. Guided by our Series Ambassador and MC Kim Morrison, our panel includes four local, inspiring and very different creatives whose work spans art, music, ceramics and creative expression. Noosa watercolour artist and surface pattern designer Cass Deller brings colour, intuition and joy to her distinctive creative practice; acclaimed singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Wes Carr explores connection and expression through music. Ren Jeske, Artist Psychotherapist & Somatic Coach, brings another unique creative perspective to the conversation; and award-winning ceramicist, interdisciplinary artist and educator Fiona Cuthbert O'Meara shares her deeply tactile approach to creativity, nature and the art of slowing down. Our Mindful Moment will be guided by Ren Jeske. Together, they'll explore what creativity looks like beyond the finished product, the vulnerability of expressing ourselves, letting go of perfection, rediscovering play and allowing creativity to become a tool for connection, reflection and healing. A Creative Space, Reimagined Noosa's brand-new 11.11 Studios will be transformed into an immersive and unexpected event precinct, a fitting home for a lunch celebrating creativity in all its forms. The creative expression continues at the table Journey Street Food will curate a vibrant Mediterranean-inspired feast. Colourful, abundant and playful, designed for sharing and connection.
