EVERY LIFE COUNTS - Sydney Film Premiere Event

The film is here! Sydney come join us and the Ride4Life team to watch our short documentary, EVERY LIFE COUNTS. Come and join the team who rode across Australia! We’re excited to welcome you to our Sydney Film Premiere and share this film with you. Last September, four women rode Australia’s first quad tandem bicycle from Perth to Sydney, raising $115,000 for Gotcha4Life. This film tells their story. The program will run for 90 minutes, featuring stories shared by the riders and team. The film itself is only 20 minutes long and will be followed by a Q&A session. We'd love for you to join and experience this film on the big screen! Kids under 3 are free provided they can sit on an adults lap. The Film: Four women set out to ride Australia’s first quad tandem bicycle 4,000 kilometres from Perth to Sydney. Their goal is simple, start conversations about mental health and suicide, and give people a chance to share their stories. Over six weeks on the road, the team travels through regional towns, small communities and major cities, meeting Australians from all walks of life. Some have lost loved ones to suicide. Others have lived through their own mental health struggles. As stories are shared, the ride becomes about much more than the kilometres ahead. Alongside the people they meet, the documentary follows the riders themselves their reasons for taking on the challenge, the highs and lows of life on the road, and the personal experiences that connect them to the cause. EVERY LIFE COUNTS is a road trip documentary about connection, conversation and the people behind the statistics, showing how a simple conversation can make a difference. Film by: Nathaniel Ginn Produced by: Marta Rutkowska Content advisory: Please note that the film contains sensitive content and includes direct discussion of suicide.
