Performance workshop and showing

Workshop: Thursday 26 November 10am - 1 pm Finding the Thread: is a workshop of physical training and performance composition for theatre makers, community collaborators, writers, researchers and more. It shares principles and methods learned since 2012 from Eugenio Barba and Odin Teatret. It explores developing questions of auto – ethnographic theatre anthropology, the act of authoring one’s own experience through theatre and performance with Institute of Luck. Performance Showing: Saturday 5th December 5 pm Tale of the Wolf When I was sixteen, my Mother played me a recording of Jeffery Masson’s The Freud Diaries, about Freud’s suppression of the Seduction Theory, which led Freud to develop his theory of Hysteria. Tale of the wolf reimagines Little Red Riding Hood from a survivor’s point of view. It speaks back to Freud's theory of Hysteria, through the mouth of the wolf, a mythic figure of transformation that predates psychoanalysis. This development adapts the performance set and dramaturgy for the unique Peacock theatre space at Salamanca Arts Centre where it is programmed in late December 2026. This project is supported through a residency at Theatre and Performance Studies, The University of Sydney
