Printmaking with Local Botanicals (2-week workshop)

Discover the beauty of Randwick’s native environment through a hands-on printmaking workshop series inspired by local flora. Using responsibly sourced botanical materials collected from the Randwick area, participants will create unique artworks while exploring the textures, patterns, and forms found in nature. Guided through the printmaking process, participants will learn to work with professional acrylic printmaking inks to capture the intricate veins, silhouettes, and details of leaves and plant specimens. This workshop offers an engaging introduction to place-based artmaking, encouraging participants to connect creatively with the local landscape. The techniques and processes taught have been extensively developed and tested through the artist’s current residency, ensuring an accessible and rewarding experience for beginners and experienced makers alike. Class dates: Wednesday on 2 December and 9 December 2026 (10.00am to 12.30pm). You only need to register once to be able to attend all two sessions.
